This model is a faithful reproduction of the Simca Aronde. All the elements that made the success of this car, which was manufactured in nearly one and a half million units between 1951 and 1963, are present. And, as a bonus, the specific features of the Geneva taxi: three-tone paint, logo, sign, domed windscreen, chrome grille and recessed headlights, everything is there, including the number plate, which is also clearly identifiable in the album. Hergé has taken the attention to detail by illustrating the back plate with the cantonal coat of arms of Geneva, the Swiss crest and the registration in four digits.
