Miss Madeleines (formerly The Sewing Room) was the direct result of the owners’ popularity and demand for a bigger store.  Opened by Mary Kirby on 23rd May 1994 in a small unit in the Courtyard Sheringham her unique talent and eye for detail and something just a little different, saw her small unit expand to two then in 2010 she moved into premises on station road in the centre of town and relaunched as Miss Madeleine’s Giftware Emporium.  In 2018, Mary retired and her daughter Nina took over the business and with the support of loyal customers, she didn’t wish to change her mum’s success she simply modernised it.  She’s added a few more suppliers into the store and continually adds colour and interest to the high street with ever changing window displays.  Keen and proud to be champions of Sheringham Plastic Aware group, your purchase will definitely be packaged in recycled boxes and reused bubble wrap, but certainly packed with love and care.
